Peak Nova provides a full range of services designed to rapidly design, build and deploy high-quality business software. We are capable of providing targeted roles to existing teams, as well as managing all aspects of the solution development process using our people.

Enterprise Architecture & Design

Peak Nova employs an "Up-to-date Conservative" philosophy when approaching enterprise application architecture. This means we tend to avoid transient fads and trendy vendors in favor of proven solutions, while at the same time ensuring that the latest proven design patterns are brought to bear.

Frameworks

The use of frameworks, languages, tools and other core technical pieces depends on client requirements. Peak Nova currently works with the Spring frameworks (Java and .Net) for larger projects, while smaller systems typically use a variation of the ActiveRecord and Model-View-Controller patterns.

Languages

Peak Nova strives to be reasonably language-independent. Our designs work equally well in .Net and java environments. Currently Peak Nova concentrates primarily on C#, however our java practice continues to grow.

Web development is done primarily in ASP.Net, including AJAX frameworks from Microsoft and Telerik.

Database Servers

We have deep experience in Microsoft SQL Server. We also have significant Oracle experience, and are currently building out our capabilities to include the pure OO database technology db4o.

Application Development and Deployment

Once the system has been designed and architected correctly Peak Nova can supply a team of top-notch, deeply experienced developers, DBAs, testers and project managers to implement and deploy the solution.
